BTW, important news for the Atlantis people on my flist! Fanfic authors, fanartists, and fanvidders need to get their nominations categorized properly for the Stargate Fan Awards by THIS MONDAY. I know I nominated the hell out of McWeir stuff, especially vids and artwork placed on mcweir.com and (somewhat) recent McWeir fanfic and I know I nominated a lot of McWeir shippers.

If you have a good feeling that your stuff might have been nominated but did not get an email from the SFA people, recheck your email! The SFA peeps state that a lot of the nomination announcement emails may have been lost due to spam blockers. Check your junk mail box - the notices went out about a couple of weeks ago.

And THANK YOU to everyone who nommed me! I had 23 nominations, wow! Now I have to figure out what goes where, and unfortunately choose some fanart over others because they fall in the same category. (Has anyone figured out the difference between "portrait" and "scene" in the fanart categories? I'm not really sure what kind of icon falls in what category.)

My latest McWeir manip. Man, this one was a toughie! I actually enjoyed removing Shep from the background, SHAME on me. :P

I just love the ship fanon concept of the two of them playing chess. Preferably with Rodney losing, because Elizabeth would come off all naive at first and so he'd go easy on her because he's crushing on her and BAM! She destroys him in five moves. She just finished move three - Rodney has just realized that he's doomed. And of course they made some sort of "friendly" bet before the game started, I'm just trying to figure out what Rodney has to do now. ^_^

I finally tried my hand at colorbars. And of course I got a bit carried away... O_O

Well, that was certainly an odd dream. o_O

A brand new Atlantis episode was airing. Elizabeth and Rodney are in the main control room of Atlantis. Elizabeth is apparently sick and on the verge of sneezing. But just as she sneezes, she grabs Rodney's right hand and sneezes into it instead of her own. Rodney gives his patented look of shocked disgust and snarks "Oh, THANK YOU so much." Elizabeth looks away, showing a bare hint of a smile for the camera.

McWeir shippers take this as a sign that the ship has become canon. Forums everywhere go nuts.

Yeah...weird. I rarely dream about Atlantis too.
